Three-piece pop trio LA Women broke onto the scene last year with hit after hit, tallying up over 4 million plays on Spotify whilst doing so. Now they team up with fellow New Zealand music giants SACHI on ‘Count it Up’.
LA Women’s unique sound can be described as fusion of funk, soul, pop, electro and anything in between. Their sound has been creating waves not only here in New Zealand but on an international scale drawing coverage from the likes of Complex, Hillydilly, MTV and more. The new track boast the groups talent for production and song-writing ability and we can only assume SACHI had something to do with the funky layers that lace it. Fellow NZ Producer, Montell2099 also worked on the track compiling a collection of the three most promising New Zealand musicians on a track you’ll see all year. A music video directed by Taylor Mansfield accomapnies the track and was debuted by Complex UK. It’s fair to say LA Women are turning a few heads with their rise to the top.
